2/16/05 : After long production delays the newest Legacy albums are available. We've been getting huge reviews on it. 1/04/05 : Ringing in the New Year with Legacy....well kind of. The overwhelming demand has created a huge slowdown in production, now copies will be available for the 6th or 7th. We're sorry for the backorder but this has been the quickest selling Legacy album of them all. To everyone who has gotten one we know you're enjoying it, and to thsoe who haven't well they say you have to wait for good things to come. In other news Green Fire Records has a new band that is signed.

New Legacy cd release date. December 7, 2004 Legacy’s new cd is released. Legacy - The Update vol. 4 This cd has amazing songs, the collbo’s on it will leave you in awe. 11/19/04 : Here at Green Fire Records, we are gearing up for the huge new Legacy cd. We are going to have a huge market push for this cd. A purevolume site is almost done, and should be up and running any day now. Also Legacy will have a featured interview in a new online fanzine, so that wil be amazing. 10/22/04 : In the upcoming week our tshirt should be available online to the public. We are also working to get the purevolume page up with a new Legacy song off his new cd and a Murphey's Spears song for you all to get a taste. We are currently working to try and get some kind off fanzine either online/offline or both together. We are worknig on Murphey's Spears promo shots so you can all see the next big thing. Big things aer starting to happen. We are also worknig hard to open up a webstore of some sort. 9/26/04 : Today we launched the updated site of Green Fire Records. We fixed the philosophy statement, fixed the broken links and worked on some other stuff. Currently we are still working on Murphey's Spears page, we're just waiting for their input and than can proceed. We are currently working on a purevolume and myspace page. So that will be upcoming. We have a Green Fire Records blog ring over at Xanga so if you are a member why don't you help us out and join it. We also have Legacy tips page: www.xanga.com/Legacy_Daily_Tips so don't forget about that. There are alot of exciting things happening here and we cant wait for them all to happen. Marcus is also working hard making copies of Murphey's Spears cds and promo items. 9/25/04 : We owe everyone apologies for not updating for so long, things at Green Fire Records have been so busy. What's been happening you might ask? Well for starters Semi Influential broke up so their EP is not going to come out. But once they left, we signed a new band, they are called Murphey's Spears and they have some crazy sounds. They will get their own page in a week or so. Legacy has also been busy. His new cd is coming out in December, this took him a while but he promises it's his best yet. 7/18/04 : While we are fixing the site up we thought we would just let you know about the new band we signed. They are called: Semi Influnetial and turst us this band is rockin. They can not be categorized into on genre. Their upcoming EP is being recorded now, we will et you know on a release date when it comes about.

3/17/04 : We are sorry about not updating this site in along time but our server has been down.... Green Fire Records first film has been put out as a short film, the best way to describe it is a mix between Clandestine and The Ring. We are also pleased to announce that Legacy is right now working on his second full length LP, it is entitled: Let's try this again (Volume 2) and it is slated to come out on March 31st.
1/17/04 : Green Fire Records is proud to announce that our film is in the last stages of production, it is currently untitled but expected to come out on video soon. Unfortunatly thoguh we wil have to charge two dollars for each video to cover the cost of blank videocassettes, or if you want a copy you can give/send us a blank copy and we will give you the movie free of charge...Keeping looking back at this site for the next few days to see when it is officailly out.

Our History/Philosophy
Green Fire Records is the brain child of Marcus Aurelius. He saw the problem with labels and how they just sign artists and don't take any care in them. He decided to start a label and only get people he believed in who were in music for the right state. His first artist hit close to home, it was Legacy. Legacy was an unsigned rapper who just wanted to make people happy and Marcus took note with this. Through a strict DIY ethic, Green Fire Records has had some releases hit other states suprisingly enough. The philosophy is simple: "Believe in your craft, do what you want, and don't forget those who made you" With that statement Green Fire Records is poised for huge growth
